The St. Hildegard Altar Society is a strong integral part of St. Hildegard Catholic Church and its members are proud of both their historical, and their current contributions to the parish. As St. Hildegard parishioners all women are also members of the St. Hildegard Altar Society. The Altar Society supports the parish by servicing the altar and sanctuary, hosting the annual fall dinner, maintaining the cleanliness of the church and providing meals for funerals and other events. Through the votive candle donations and its fundraising efforts, the Altar Society reimburses the parish for all sanctuary supplies and other items, such as priest vestments, to enhance the parish liturgies.
The Altar Society generally meets in the church meeting room on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (No meeting in Nov. or Dec.) The current officers are:
President: Megan Milbradt
Treasurer: Trina Schweitzer
Secretary: Jessica Arnold
The women of the Altar Society assist in keeping the church clean; below is a monthly schedule of the church cleaners. We thank all of our members who humbly accept this responsitility as part of their stewardship to our parish.
