We are glad you have joined us. May your time visiting our website give you a glimpse of who we are as a parish family and as a growing Catholic Church. We encourage you to visit us in person and join us in worshiping the Lord and to participate in fellowship to enrich your faith!
The St. Hildegard Catholic community, united in the universal church with our bishop, pastor, and the Diocese of Bismarck, and responding to the challenge of the gospel of Jesus Christ, are called to celebrate our faith in the risen Lord. In our rural setting, we seek to be an example of the Catholic Church; reaching out with a warm welcome and the embrace of Christ's love to heal and reconcile. We are to be a light to the world and to make Christ present to our community and to all persons.
St. Hildegard has a rich history of men and women following vocations and our parishioners pray regularly for vocations.
With your prayers and financial support, we are well on our way to achieving our $1,200,000 goal for the Church of St. Hildegard’s “Building on 75 Years of Faith” Capital Campaign.
The process has been well-planned and conducted from the beginning. We can all be proud of our parish, not just because we are raising the necessary funding for our education building and church renovation, but also because of the heartfelt giving that sustains our parish in every way. We have been blessed as a faith community for 75 years and God continues to draw us ever closer to Himself each day. There is a Spirit among us that creates the family of faith that we are. May the Lord continue to bless us.

Gifts from the Harvest (Grain, corn, beans, cattle, etc.) can be smart ways for farmers to “share their harvest” and save taxes at the same time. For more information or to pick up the form, contact our parish office, so you can take them to your elevator or sales barn.
The IRA Charitable Rollover is actually a “qualified charitable distribution” that can be made directly to our parish. You can reduce your taxable income even if you don’t itemize deductions! This smart giving option works well if, 1.) you are at least 70½ years old on the date you make your gift; 2.) your IRA is a traditional or ROTH; and 3.) you don’t exceed your personal maximum of $100,000 per year in qualified charitable distributions. Your gift must go directly from your IRA to our parish. If you receive the money first, then you will be taxed on it like any other distribution.
State of North Dakota Tax Credit provides a 40% tax credit that allows individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates for contributions of $5,000 or more to ND qualified endowment funds, (like our St Hildegard Endowment Fund). Even better, the unused portion of that state tax credit can be carried forward for up to three years.
